I was born in….No, I’m not going to bore you with that. I call my business Love To Feng Shui because it is truly what I love to do. My passion for Feng Shui began years ago when I was introduced to it in a design class. I was so fascinated by it that I bought all the books I could find. The more I read, the more I began to understand the way Feng Shui works.
We bought a home for the first time and I immediately planted fruit trees around the property. It was long afterwards that, at the age of 43, I found out I was pregnant for the first time in my life. What an amazing blessing.
But 3 years later, I had my world shaken again by one single word – CANCER. I was told I had stage 3 inflammatory breast cancer. I was a mom and afraid I would not see my child grow up. Since I wasn’t going anywhere, I pulled out my Feng Shui books and began discovering what I could do to change the energies. One thing I found was put metal in my bedroom so I put metal in appropriate corner.
I will never forget the day, while taking a chemo therapy treatment, my doctor came in to saying, “Tena, I’m sending you to the hospital for an emergency biopsy.” Not knowing what to expect, I began focusing on a beautiful picture I carried with me of my son and husband taken at a water park. To our amazement, the biopsy results came back showing it was not stage 3 breast cancer. My chances had just gone from a 50/50 chance to a 90% chance of recovery! I went from believing I wouldn’t see my son start kindergarten, to seeing him graduate from college some day.
Coincidence or fate some may say. When you understand Feng Shui, you begin to know we are surrounded by energies. Energies that we can tune into, much like a cell phone can pick the call sent to us out of the billions of signals in the airwaves.
